Front-End Software Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Front-End Software Engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience to join our product team. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating user-friendly, high-performance web applications that leave a lasting impression. As a Front-End Software Engineer at Senior Sign, you will play a pivotal role in implementing the user interface and experience for our software, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience across all products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Front-End Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and back-end developers, to translate design specifications into functional, responsive web interfaces.
2. User Interface Development: Create pixel-perfect, visually stunning user interfaces that meet modern design and usability standards, ensuring an excellent user experience.
3. Responsive Design: Develop and maintain responsive web applications to ensure seamless user interactions across various devices and screen sizes.
4. Optimization: Optimize the front-end code and assets for maximum speed and scalability, prioritizing performance to enhance the end-user experience.
5. Testing and Debugging: Conduct rigorous testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our applications function flawlessly.
6. Code Quality: Maintain a high standard of code quality, adhere to best practices, and keep up-to-date with the latest front-end development trends and technologies.
7. Documentation: Document your work thoroughly, making it accessible to other team members for collaborative development and knowledge sharing.
8. Communication: Effectively communicate technical information and provide solutions to technical challenges to both technical and non-technical team members.
9. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the product management team to understand project requirements, timelines, and business goals.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience developing web applications
• Proficiency in Typescript and data driven application design
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL (such as Firebase) databases
• Experience with a modern frontend framework (React is preferred)
• Experience with NX and mono repo application development a plus
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Notion, and Github.
• Ability to properly scope work to be completed and clearly communicate progress towards deadlines.
• Fundamental understanding of software development.
• Fundamental understanding of UI/UX design.
• Strong understanding of usability and accessibility principles.
